Today, my son Ethan has left with his Best Friend Elliot Thomas and there family for their yearly week-long vacation.. This year they are headed to yellowstone park..



It was one of my most favorite places to visit as a child with my family. My mom and dad's best friends lived right around the corner, and my dad is still best friends to this day with Gordon...



Julie, the mother, died over 20 years ago of Breast Cancer. She had been my Primary President, in this montage... We toured Yellowstone, then did back country canoe trips... which later I went on to write a poem about my dad... and added it years later to music and pictures... so I will add those on here as well...



It was during this Yellowstone, back country trip, that we came across 2 moose in an open field... that ended up charging my father, and his bestfriend... while they were taking the 2 canoes through shallow waters... they each had their youngest child in each boat... the moose charged, got right to the waters edge, and stopped... while the rest of the family was hiding behind trees, trying to get around the moose...
